The masters of the system, i.e the government, the media, the CEO’s of finance e.t.c make the decision for us about how to live our lives. We’ve come to accept this way of life, almost like we’ve been ‘programmed’ to succumb to the will of the ‘masters’.
Personally I don’t think he’s just referring to the government, what ‘programmes’ us to ‘obey’ and ‘listen’? Advertising, which is the extension of a Corporate sphere of influence over the people. After all it is the banks ect.. that have the real power, not the government.
