Men in Black is a movie trilogy. In the third one, Agent K says these wise words of wisdom: “don’t ask questions you don’t want to know the answer to.”

Found in MIB is a device called a neuralyzer, which wipes recent memory. I cannot remember this lesson due to this. How did the blind create this memory loss? Due to their faults, wonders are created.

I’m taking this as a perfect time to explain the stylistically use of rhetorical questions:

These are wonders of mine. I use them to give off the “lost in this world” perspective, to show that there is always more to learn, and to make the listener dwell on something.

A lot of stuff is open to interpretation. And this is considered rather genius, although not by me. I believe in directly leading to multiple answers rather than allowing multiple ones to be plausible.

Notice the placement of this just after the usage of “light,” perhaps the most vague word anyone can use, ever.

A lot of people go to loud concerts where everything is super energetic, often considering themselves to be huge fans.

But I seek to make something for people to listen to late at night when they are scared of the world. Night is when people’s emotions are strongest, and when people feel alone. This dedication in a time of need is heavier than simply rocking out to something in the middle of the day.

Moral of the story: people try to differ from what they consider to be society, but if the masses are doing it, then they ARE society without even realizing it.

Not many people would understand this division between the black sheep and what are perceived to be the deep-thinkers of today. All of the things mentioned in the previous 3 lines are what people think are deep, but I completely disagree with.

Also an homage to Man on the Moon

Society today seems to believe that people who do not cry are not real people. This is cheesy. But not as cheesy as the usage of Cheetos in this line, which is a usage of irony.

Society:

Once again flipping the popular belief. Black sheep, a recurring theme, are more important than the lions, people in the spotlight.

Society says:

I disagree with this completely. What people do can come back to haunt them, affecting them much greater than mere yearnings to do things aging will not allow.

Alberto “Alpo” Martinez was a notorious Harlem drug dealer who had his hands in Washington D.C., where he was also shot, though not killed. The next line mentions Wayne Perry, who has his enforcer.

Alpo testified against Perry, and is currently serving a life sentence for 14 homicides. Perry is in ADX Florence, a supermax facility in Colorado.

After Alpo’s rise to power, DC became a much more dangerous place. You could not go there safely.

Wayne “Silk” Perry (b. 1962) is currently incarcerated in ADX Florence, a supermax facility in Colorado.

He has been described as the most infamous gangster to ever walk the streets of Washington D.C. and the “Michael Jordan of the murder game”. His cohorts on armed robberies used to take the bullets out of his gun because of his trigger happy nature. His hustles including murder for hire, robbery, drug dealing, extortion. He pleaded guilty to five murders in 1994, at 31 years old.

XO is displaying his DC culture in this line.

Wayne “Silk” Perry was a notorious DC hitman, considered the Michael Jordan of murders, back in the 90’s. XO has been rapping about him for awhile now, such as in this line from “Flowers.” XO exhibits the undergroundness of he and his fellow Diamond Districters.

Jay Z mentioned the DC figure in his hit song “Tom Ford,”

this my Wayne Perry flow
Y’all know nothing about Wayne Perry though
District of Columbia,

Others have had no idea about Wayne Perry until someone as famous as Jay mentioned him. XO and his fellow DC residents have always known.
