Pretty sure every indie or underground artists feels this way, but I definitely feel I’m nicer than some of the major label artists in the game right now. Again, that should be the mind state of every MC though!

Another double entendre here where going “hard” as in lyrical with intensity and/or going “hard” as in an erection.. hip hop being the lady left satisfied in the end. :)

When I write lyrics I try to create visuals in the mind.. Visual enough to send through letters to childhood friends of mine that are locked up for the long haul..

I wrote this song around the time of the “Control” verse hooplah so Kendrick was on the brain.. He was the lyrical genius of the moment so I was just having some fun here and talking some more ish.. I love Kendrick by the way. Very dope.

Just exploiting some double entendres with the words “tight” and “cold” which are often used in good terms to describe an MC..

I attempt to write lyrics just as vivid as the scriptures in the Bible.. In hopes of words strong enough to save a lost chick by bringing the “gospel” to her in the lyrical form like Ty Tribbet who is a gospel artist..

I study the connection of rhyme as well as provide light in the darkness.. Maybe not in the literal sense, but as far as providing knowledge to those not in the know..
