She deals with more than she should though, because she figured getting used and disrespected by black men was to be expected. Plus, the way black men used her turned her on along with the excitement of being around somebody that carries a gun and sells drugs.

But to a lost brother, sex is all he wants anyway. So he will never commit to or respect her if he is already getting what he wants. It was deeper than just the “Myth Of The Mandingo” but about everything she THOUGHT a black man stood for. His skin, lips, ability to rap, and the gangster lifestyle. She was intrigued by it all.
