Blasphemous indeed. Shock value bar.. Just wanted to highlight my work ethic basically saying I’m working even when God is chilling. lol Erecting statues meaning paying homage and highlighting the images of the greats from our past (i.e. Nas) that laid the path before us! Fighting with a lyrical “sword & shield” for all that can be right about hip hop when it’s used the right way. Had a little lyrical fun with “time” as well in some more lyrical boasting.. I pay homage to the PAST… I am PRESENTLY the FUTURE…

Says I need a queen with physical attributes like that of the actress Paula Patton. Then sometimes I feel these days when it comes to trying to bring conscious rap back to the forefront of the game I got the world on my shoulders. The Greek mythology character Atlas was punished by Zues and forced to hold the planet Earth on his shoulders. I playfully likened my plight to that of Atlas'. Paul Patton was the former governor of my home state Kentucky. So I said even if I was overstating my position and I was just bringing conscious hip hop back for my state and not the entire game you could say I got the state on my shoulders (delts is short for deltoids) like Paul Patton had the state on his back as governor.

More lyrical boasting. Saying that the rhyme pattern is something God made himself. Then saying the precision of my bars is likened to a scalpel that’s been sharpened. Or the power of the bars is like gravity and matter shootin' a fade. lol

I use the mic when rapping as a platform to provide some soul and wisdom for those listening. I feel there is a bright light on all MCs that choose to pick up the mic. So I try to control that light and use it for good. I feel the beat is a prism and I try to angle the prism the right way and shine the “light” through that in hopes of inspiring somebody.

Lyrically I feel my flow is strong like Mike Tyson except I’m able to go 12 rounds. Strong but with endurance. Flow precision is “tight” like the grip of a boa constrictor. Just a little lyrical boating right there.. Part of the fun as an MC.

I was focused on obtaining as much knowledge as possible while still trying to understand if this was the right path. As I was growing from adolescent into a man I saw that my options were to choose the right way or the wrong way.

I was introduced to the 5 percent teachings during high school. At the time I felt what I was learning was stronger than God’s strength through Moses' staff. (Later found that to be false). I was mentally “broke” but became “rich” with knowledge as I began reading more books.

At the end of the day it’s my purpose that keeps me motivated to continuing making music.

So many young kids having kids of their own. Having 2 daughters I’m scared of this generation that wants to grow up so fast. Most of us remember the Worldstar video of that young girl serving up some young boy on school grounds.. smh.
