She’s praying for her brother as he fights in the current war in Afghanistan. She uses the colloquial term for “brother” because, ironically, the very people he’s fighting against are of Middle Eastern decent and resemble him.

She’s trying to figure out the reason we’re still at war, and with her younger brother away at war killing she’s wondering how his heart isn’t heavy after all of that..how it’s not taking a toll. .

This is also an allusion to Bill Maher and his HBO show, Real Time with Bill Maher. .

Finding peace is a difficult, taxing task. Sort of like the cost of a cab fare after a long trip.

A play on the words hunger & fast:

• Rapsody is hungry for answers (truth)
• Fasting is the practice of giving up something you value (food)

At this current stage of her life, stress and emotions make her feel like the weight of the world is upon her. She can’t protect her younger brother from the harsh reality that the world brings. .

The same rappers who claim to be thugs are in Hollywood (i.e. Ice T’s “Cop Killer”). Now Ice plays a cop on Law and Order. (Whatever you have to do to pay the bills!)

This is also a subtle shot at Young Jeezy who starred in his own mini-movie entitled .38. This shot could also be directed towards Ross' former rival 50 Cent, who started as a gangsta rapper, and eventually starred in movies such as Get Rich or Die Tryin and All Things Fall Apart.

Ross is screaming “The Motto” while balling in the V-I.

He leaves us guessing as to what these letters mean. They could refer to a VI[P] section, a G6 private jet, his Rolls Royce Phantom VI, or even the Virgin Islands.

Drake pulled up with a Maybach and Noah “40” Shebib in a Jeep.
