Bun B and Pimp C started their career as famous and respected Houston based rap duo in 1992 with the cassette only release of their first EP The Southern Way that included some songs that were later that year released on their offical debut album Too Hard Too Swallow.

Since then they released 6 studio albums and made dozens of guest appearances. It is safe to say that UGK is one of the most influential groups of rap history and the death of Pimp C was a huge loss.
