He has often made reference to the movie The Prestige where the second act is for the object to remove itself from the audience (fans). Jay could likely be removing himself for musical ploy, suspense, or to become closer to the divine, but either way he has chosen to give us a significant amount of division between Act I and what comes next (hopefully Act II)

The Black Lip Pastor likes to sprinkle his verses with biblical references sometimes, like this one. I bit the apple references Adam, the first man on earth along with Eve who bit the apple of temptation from the tree of knowledge and sinned against God.
Soul says that he bit the famous Apple logo on the Mac computer. People see the symbol and may wonder who or what might’ve taken a bite off the Apple logo. Just know it was Soulo

Not Bachelor’s as in men who are viable candidates for women, but instead Bachelor’s Degree’s which are earned through a college education.

These degrees are literal in a sense that they can help you get a job, but Schama is referring to the degrees of how cold his flow is.
