The song usually ends with “down came the rain and washed the spider out”, however Jay Elect made this simple bar more meaningful by applying biblical content. In the story of Moses and the Pharaoh, Moses used his rod/staff to part the red sea to allow his people (the Israelites) to pass after he had retrieved them from the captivity of the Pharaoh. Jay Electronica identifies himself as such a character throughout his music.

Vinnie isn’t coming soft, everything he’s thinking up is a strike at his opponents, he’s not even listening to rap anymore, he just wants to kill.
ACCEPTED COMMENT: Vinnie is also referring to the band Slayer. In other songs he says he like heavy metal so he might be fed up with listening to rap and so he listens to Slayer instead for inspiration.
Yup, I concur with Slayer referring to the metal band, and that Vinnie is saying he doesn’t listen to rap because it’s become sissy crap, so he gets his dose of hardcore from metal music. Vinnie’s implied as much in other verses, check the JMT song “Burning the Mirror,” there’s a line in Vinnie’s verse that goes “I only listen to black metal and raps from Pun”
