Powerfully put. Jeezy is comparing humans put in prison/jail cells to animals put in cages. Without the consent of certain individuals, they are forcibly stripped of their rights and locked up undeservingly. And just like how people go to the zoo to see animals in cages, people take a trip to prison to see other people in cages too (i.e prison cells). The analogy here really fits on so many levels.

Don’t let this comment alarm you, this is just typical Ruckus!

Enter Uncle Ruckus, the iconic character whose sole purpose is to be a walking-parody of Uncle Tom(s) and general bigoted folks. Ruckus often exhibits blatant racism against people of his own race – meant to come off as “ironic” and “bizarre” for humorous purposes. He quickly became a favorite among fans while others found his character to be offensive.

When asked about him, Aaron stated:

Uncle Ruckus represents an ignorant past that we can look back and laugh at because we are a long way away from it now. At least, that’s what you hope… But I think part of why the character is popular is because a lot of us know somebody like him. We know black people who are stuck in the 1800s.

source.

This comment specifically is a textbook example of the out-right offensive things Uncle Ruckus says. It’s meant to be a play on the term “code red”; hence, it insinuates that black people are somehow dangerous.

Studies have shown that sleep deprivation can lower your inhibition and up your impulse levels.

For this reason, Shad is more inclined to be more open when being tired. Also, Shad has more time to reflect on himself and life more clearly when writing alone late at night.

Gosh, the intricacy here is alarming!

Regardless of people concerns Crest will continue to mess around with these divas.

The word “come” here is used as a homophone, so the line is a double entendre:

  • One meaning being that he will still get the divas (honeys) to flock to him

  • The other being that he will continue to make his honey(s) cum (cum is a homophone of come)

Note: how “honey come” can be interpreted as honeycomb, making how he makes his honeys cum tie in with the functionality of a honeycomb. Get it?

Ultimately though, this bar is a vague metaphor linking “divas” to the life of music and fame. So it can be said that it’s also code for pursuing money and fame making music regardless of parental concerns.

RED’s soul is so intense that even a fleet of firemen can put out its flaming-hot resolve — metaphorically speaking of course.

Note: Fire trucks are also red once again tying in the theme of the poem.

To put it elegantly: RED is madd drunk on power.

Note: Red = color of power
