People always say “play your cards right” in various situations…. if you an learn how to count cards in a metaphorical sense, then no matter how you play your cards you’ll always be in a good spot if you can keep a level head.

And I’m not the flashiest artist out there, but a lot of people say that because of that they find charm in my humility and ability to be humble. I owe that to being raised in a small town like East Hartford, CT… there’s a lot of farms in the area too hahaha

Regardless of whatever bullying I went through as a kid, as I grew up I learned to put it past me, and not pick at the old scars and scabs through music. Some other artists like to use their hardships as a vessel to get them more exposure, I think it seems tacky. There’s more to life than the struggles and I wanna express those things through my music and embrace good vibes, rather than beat everything I’ve been through into the audiences head.

One of the conspiracy theories revolving around 12.21.12 revolved around this idea of a Photon Belt, or Photon Band:

-It was said at the core of the Photon Belt beliefs is that there is an immense belt of photons orbiting around the Pleiades. According to some New Age beliefs, Earth will pass through this belt of photons, resulting either in humanity’s elevation to a higher plane of existence, the end of the world, or both.

This is impossible as far as we know…. so pretty much I’m saying this (as well as any other doomsday conspiracies, illuminati conspiracies, etc etc) are horse shit.

-Dom is saying that he’s suffering from heat in his car and this, is where the Double entendre appears. Whether it is because:

-He lacks A/C in his car
His car is way to old to have an A/C and he can’t buy a new one because he lacks a fan-base which provides him with money

This opener is kind of like a reference to the fact that I’ve said it before on a collaboration to make my presence known and I’m saying it again on my own track to affirm it.

So before we started recording this song, Mic Kurb, one of my homies in ASF as well who also happened to engineer this song (Good Looks Kurb) were just talking about pokemon and shit and relating it to artists we know and shit….. and he said something about like all the old pokemon items and I just said I use X Attack Before I hit the booth lol

Regardless of whatever is going on in my life though, I’ll be straight because I have music to hold me over in the low points
