Not everything that’s real has to have a sad undertone though, positive things can be just as real… it just requires a way of thinking that isn’t cynical.

Seriously though, a lot of blues music was and is awesome even if it is sad, because its real.

It’s funny and ironic in a way, that the “Golden age of music” an era that you’d expect to be filled with prosperity (although it was) is defined by a genre like The Blues, which focuses on the darker ones and sharing the misfortunes and pains in our lives at times. But on the other hand, people gravitate towards what they think to be real and true, so it only makes sense that The Blues is so critical to music.

• Stay gold is a reference to The Outsiders, Johnny always told Ponyboy to “stay gold” in the book and movie

• My way of doing that is by trying to put a different light and energy on the negative things in my life, so they don’t have to be negative

It’s like a scale, you have to choose productivity as a musician and sacrifice some things in your personal life, so when things look up on the career side of things for a musician…. sometimes it can be going the complete opposite for them personally

Everybody knows the saying “Home is where the heart is.” My main love right now is my art, so whenever I’m creating in my mind it feels like I’m finally at home; or a home away from home at least. And as an artist you’re expected to put your heart and soul into whatever you do…. so it’s only right for me to think this way

I’ve been thinking maybe its true that I do like her, my mind constantly races about it…. and your talents only help the thoughts. I constantly have the idea that the two of us could do dope music together, just setting a scene for what could happen in the future though…. my unorthodox love song hahahaha

and through my mishaps with love, I’ve kind of healed myself, and learned that maybe the tought of liking her is more appealing that intimidating, the thought of caring for another person again intimately

But if ot it doesn’t change how we are, honestly I just like having someone to bump new music with to, like my buddy’s Clasick and their Staring At The Ceiling album (a good pick up)
