These opening lines are put in a way that gives the idea of a conversation between myself and a girl, but it’s really about her taste in music, and it’s comparison to the feeling of summer.

Each line is a reference to a release from one of my favorite artists, Blu, who also happens to be a shared favorite between a girl I happen to know, so when I say

And a lot of people tend to forget that we’re all born with good hearts and souls, no matter where from.

With everything this world throws at us, really the most difficult thing to keep right now is a good, positive heart and fight through the bullshit.

The “snakes in the grass” have been a part of my life, like it or not, I’m just aware of where they are now…… with things like this going on along with the positives in my life, sometimes I’m not sure how I should be feeling. It’s hard to tell sometimes when a smile or scream is more appropriate.

Sometimes what I see and what is true are different, I want the two to match up….. because I know theres some things in this world I want, but theres also shit I need that has to be taken care of first, I just want to make sure my desires are really worthwhile before I invest time into something that won’t work out.

When Vesuvius erupted, its ashes created casts off all the victims in the volano, a chilling idea but at the same time it froze whatever moments in time they were in…. Sometimes I wish I could do this in my world and just build a conclusion off what I see from there

Since I’ve been learning to express myself in a better way, a lot of crazy things have been happening in my life and within myself, and sometimes I’m not sure if things will be ok.
But when it comes to my craft and talent, I feel like the volcano that buried pompeii, once things start to go in the right direction the result could change everything

It’s a different change from being an introverted person to a musician, because you have the delicate balance of showing who you are as a person but not revealing too much. It’s a thin line between sharing experiences and searching for empathy, but as long as you’re real with yourself in due time what needs to be revealed in your world, will open in front of your eyes.

Just creating a visual with these two lines….. I do this a lot when I smoke, just get in tune with myself in a controlled way, rather than act out off my emotions I haven’t taken the time to understand.
