“Can’t Get You Out of My Head” is a song recorded by Kylie Minogue for her eighth studio album Fever, released as the lead single from the album.

The song finds Minogue expressing her love obsession with an anonymous figure, though their relationship with Minogue can be interpreted in a number of ways.

Writers and producers Cathy Dennis and Rob Davis initially wrote the song for S Club 7 when British artist manager Simon Fuller asked them to do so; he felt that the song wasn’t right for the group. The song was then offered to Sophie Ellis-Bextor, who also declined it, before it was offered to Kylie, who said she loved it instantly, with Cathy Dennis stating that she didn’t “believe it was meant to go to anyone other than Kylie”.

Lionel has done everything he could to keep him and his girl together. “I begged, stole and borrowed” are three things you can do when you can’t solve it by yourself. You could say he “lowered” himself by having to need help to continue this relationship.

These are the things that make the break-up easy for Lionel. He knows it isn’t working out since he has already tried everything, there are no options left. He might be quite relieved he figured out what to do, actually.

“Beg, borrow, or steal” is an old, old expression – Chaucer was using it in the 1300s.

Basically means the same. The things one originates one also has to get rid of, in a literal sense by actually paying off debts.
