This scream also sounds a lot like Curtis Mayfield’s scream in the song “(Don’t Worry) If There’s a Hell Below, We’re All Going to Go.” This could be some form of a metaphor.
Kanye had previously used this song as a sample on “Jesus Walks.”
Kanye’s screams are meant to juxtapose the brash bravado of the rest of the song. I believe in this moment he is alluding to his struggles with mental illness. One moment you feel you’re on top of the world, and the next you’re in Hell. Being a God means having the weight of the world on your shoulders. It is this scream which provides the song its moment of self-awareness. Through the pettiness of privilege, screaming for croissants like a child, Kanye finds himself in the midst of a nightmare of his own making. Who does he think he is? A God. He just told you. When he says it, he means it. But make no mistake, he means the screams too. It’s two sides of the same coin.

This could also be a homage to the scream in Harlem World by Old Dirty Bastard (a past collaborator of Kanye’s). The screams are very similar to the point that I thought it was a sample.
