Kathryn Johnston (June 26, 1914 – November 21, 2006) was an elderly Atlanta, Georgia woman who was shot by undercover police officers in her home on Neal Street in northwest Atlanta, where she had lived for 17 years.

Sean Elijah Bell (May 18, 1983 – November 25, 2006) was the nephew of the current University of Missouri basketball coach Frank Haith. Sean was shot and killed by New York City Police Department officers in Queens, New York.
