In most cases, many wouldn’t know who had their bike stolen otherwise they would go get it back, but Donald knew who the thief was and where he lived but knowing the type of person he himself was (nerdy, poor, chubby), and although he was poor and (literally) couldn’t afford to lose it, he didn’t have the courage (or the muscle) to go and retrieve the bike back.
