This isn’t the first time Kendrick has hopped on a Mike WiLL Made-It joint! Their first collaboration was 2014’s “Buy The World,” with Lamar rapping alongside Future and Lil Wayne.

The Compton rapper believes a collaboration between “Kung-Fu Kenny” and Mike WiLL is just as dangerous as the NBA superstar team, the Spurs.

This whole album, especially her track “Don’t Touch My Hair”, was such a breath of fresh air and something we needed to hear during our current social climate. Don’t get me wrong, I love me some Queen Bey, but as soon as I heard Solange’s album, I loved it even more than Lemonade.

Back in the old days, you used to have to press the numbers on your phone to type out specific letters.

On newer phones however, like the iPhone, you can still see how the letters of the alphabet correspond to the numbers in the phone’s keypad tab.

This style of rap, where the artist guides the listener through a sort of equation was first used by Canibus in the song “Nigganometry.” Soul has tweeted the lyrics from that song, so it’s likely an inspiration for this section.

The “zombies” Gambino is referring to here could be a precursor to the later and hit song “Redbone” and a reference to the chorus:

But stay woke
Niggas creepin'
They gon' find you
Gon' catch you sleepin' (Oooh)

The theme of recognizing the dangers of someone or something among us at all times is prevalent throughout this track as well; this could be directed towards a particular girl, or even his new-born child seeing as how this album as a whole could be written towards this child (considering track titles like “Me and Your Mama.”)

Forwards (referring to the small/power forwards) are also positions in basketball which not only adds on the basketball metaphor but also nods to the reference of moving only “forward” as Saba rapped earlier.

Soulo plays on acting like an “ass,” which is another way of saying donkey, and the popular party game “pin it on the donkey.”

This is also a nod to Soulo’s line in Danny Brown’s posse-cut Really Doe:

I'ma act an ass on that donkey, let her pull my ponytail
