What the hell is Instagram anymore is what I'm now wondering. Is it a place I go to to look at people's fine photos? A place to look at silly memes? A place to slide into people's DMs? A place to make Snapchat-like stories that also disappear within 24 hours?  Facebook just ruined Instagram

To be fair, the author fails to point out the fact that Instagram is different from Snapchat in that you can watch an Instagram story multiple times.

He is correct, however, in saying that the stories will disappear within 24 hours.

You can watch as Snapchat story as many times as you want though… Just for 24 hours, same as Instagram

Woops. You’re right. @swinelord. I misread the sentence as saying that they used the same method for people to replay stories.

Peter Kafka and the founders of Genius discussed Mahbod (aka @maboo) a little bit during the interview.

They mentioned that he is doing his own thing now and working for a new startup. That startup is called Everipedia.

Their Everipedia page brands itself as:

[…] a crowdsourced internet encyclopedia. Unlike Wikipedia, Everipedia allows anyone to create a page about any individual person, any organization, or anything. Creating an Everipedia page is as simple as pasting a URL into the site’s search bar which automatically populates the information into it. Contributors to the site get “IQ” and celebrities can have Verified Accounts and add to their own pages.

This leads to hypernatremia, which occurs when too much salt is present in the bloodstream.

When too much salt enters the bloodstream, it causes blood cells to shrink as water rushes out of them.

This was a case of hypervolemic hypernatremia, which is when you have an abnormally high level of sodium in your body and have a lot of fluid in your body. It’s the same diagnosis given to someone who swallows a lot of seawater or soy sauce.
