FiO is referring to his new production company, NuView Productions which he is currently ‘birthing’ as we now know from his new song ‘Lookin’ Down'.

“The instinct not to breathe underwater is so strong that it overcomes the agony of running out of air. No matter how desperate the drowning person is, he doesn’t inhale until he’s on the verge of losing consciousness. At that point there’s so much carbon dioxide in the blood, and so little oxygen, that chemical sensors in the brain trigger an involuntary breath whether he’s underwater or not. FiO completes his 2nd and final verse referencing his new production company, NuView Productions. As the client base grows so will the company in which he is currently searching for more editors and cameramen (to add to the ‘family’).

Now that FiO has broke into the post-production world he is quickly making a name for himself as an incredible award winning editor who tells stories through video as well as he does music.

Video Editing or Non-Linear Video Editing is the process of taking video that is raw, meaning untouched or newly recorded, and taking away clips of that video that are not necessary to your story or point of the video. This taking away of footage is called cutting which is for stupid emos.

Although FiO is predominantly known as a rapper, as of a few years ago he began making a dent in the professional post-production industry as an editor.

Not known for his camera skills he shoots all year round in preparation for his annual ‘Looking Back’ videos.

In filmmaking and video production, a shot is a series of frames, that runs for an uninterrupted period of time. Film shots are an essential aspect of a movie where angles, transitions and cuts are used to further express emotion, ideas and movement.
