FiO kicks off the song with tremendous excitement and a feel good vibe. He tries to explain to the listener how powerful he feels. So powerful that he believes nothing can bring him on down.

Just as the two prior to this, he opens up the third verse with the same statement and question in which he further explains.

This time around he tells us that he’s been working on spreading his name through social media trying to brand his name. He speaks of spreading these social media links in forums because it seems to be easier than passing out his freshman mixtape “Lost in Time” on 34th st, NYC all the way out to Coram, Long Island.

By the ninth bar he gets more personal than he has on this track and tells us about how people are viewing him and how a child hood friend named Matt said he had what it took for little bit, but lost it.

After discussing what Matt had said he speaks of how those words woke him up and he decided to “go all in” doing all that he could to succeed.

FiO finishes off the third verse with three well known underground rappers who share the same demographic, Chris Webby, Mac Miller, and Sammy Adams. All four of these artists first appeared together on a hit mixtape on datpiff.com entitled “White Out Volume 1”. He then continues to state how he is proud to hear people compare him to these successful artists because unlike them FiO has no Public Relation agency marketing him, no agent finding him shows, and no label supporting him. He simply relies on himself, his fans, and those closest around him.

FiO begins the second verse once again with the same statement and same question. He continues where he left off in the first verse.

This time he goes even further into detail but not before reminding the listener that he has been in his room (which his mother calls his hole) not only writing but studying other artists including those of other genres outside of the Hip Hop realm. He tells us that the reason for doing so is so that when he has his shot at the pros they will accept him as one of their own.

FiO continues to tell us what he has learned from these other artists including how to be successful in this rap game and what makes radio play.

By the time we get to the 13th line of the second verse he shows us true honesty. He lets the listener know that he doesn’t write about things he doesn’t know or about a life he doesn’t live (expensive luxuries such as cars and money) but about a life he does hoping his fans will relate.

He then admits that years ago when he first started writing he did lie in his songs and he did speak of such unknown luxuries but it didn’t quite fit and ate at his conscious, he “just ain’t that guy”.

It is here in the last four bars of each verse that FiO apologies directly to his fans and all listener’s for not communicating with them as much as he should have while begging for forgiveness.

FiO begins the first verse with both a bold statement and a longing question. Within this first line he states that he has been away from the game thus lying down the foundation of the song but at the same time sets up the listener for a detailed answer about his whereabouts.

FiO begins to answer a question he will not finish answering until the end of the song. He humbly explains that he has not been just lying around doing nothing with his life as some may have thought but has been in fact extremely busy behind the scenes.

He explains how he has not been going out partying but instead trying to build his brand that is FiO Baby at home in his “cave” which refers to his studio. FiO tries to convince us that even though he’s sure his fans are upset with him his new mixtape (A Lucid Dream) is worth the wait.

By the ninth bar FiO gives us more detail about what he’s been up to explaining all about his Hip Hop Reality Television show he had been filmed in. FiO continues telling us about his experience including when and where he tried out for the show before he admits he is not sure whether it will actually air or not.

Before FiO truly begins the song he speaks a little bit. He tells the listener that he is at a loss of words for making them wait so long for a new song during his hiatus.

The song opens up with a sample. A sample about a man who has not yet given up. This man has been working hard although you may have thought he was doing nothing of importance.
