UPDATE [May 6, 2013]: The Mississippi Supreme Court granted a stay of execution at 2 p.m. on May 6, 2013, just four hours before the scheduled execution. The court voted 8 to 1 to grant a reprieve “until further order. This means Manning’s execution, which had been scheduled for 6 p.m. CDT, will not go forward.

One way that the U.S. Government allegedly gets around federal wiretapping laws is by having other countries' governments record conversations taking place in the United States. It has been widely speculated that the UK and the US have an agreement to spy on each others' citizens' communications.

Clemente first hinted at the FBI’s capturing of all domestic digital communication in an interview with CNN’s Erin Burnett, saying

“Welcome to America. All of that stuff is being captured as we speak whether we know it or like it or not.”

The Fed maintained the the lowest possible target federal funds rate – 0-0.25% – in a continued attempt to jump-start the sluggish economy. A low federal funds rate makes borrowing money easier for banks

The Fed will continue its Quantitative Easing and record-low interest rates to support the market and attempt to jump-start an economy that is very slowly beginning to pick up. Translation: the Fed’s pumping $85 billion more dollars into the economy!

As spelled out in the Federal Reserve Act,

The Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System and the Federal Open Market Committee shall maintain long run growth of the monetary and credit aggregates commensurate with the economy’s long run potential to increase production, so as to promote effectively the goals of maximum employment, stable prices, and moderate long-term interest rates.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the current unemployment rate is 7.6%
