What on earth was Arbeloa doing so far forward? Whilst the Ludogorets defenders were spending so much time focusing on Bale and Ronaldo’s whereabouts, Arbeloa managed to sneak through and somehow be the furthest player forward for Real Madrid.
Although he was tightly marked Ronaldo still managed to header the ball into Arbeloa’s path who took a good swing at the ball.
The goal was not clearly across the line on first view and Arbeloa tried to hit the rebounded shot but thankfully the assistant behind the line gave the goal.

The keeper was quick off his line trying to clear the ball but his efforts only went as far as Darder and the rest is history.

You could feel a third goal coming from Ronaldo and it was a well worked goal from the team as well.
Bale started the move from the midfield and passed ball into Marcelo’s path. Although the cross seemed to have landed just a bit behind Ronaldo’s left foot, he positioned himself well to score his third of the night.

A brilliant team move from Atléti and José showed great awareness there. The keeper was not expecting him to shoot the ball from such a tight area let alone hit the target.
His quick feet were too much for the defender to handle. When he struck the ball ever so swiftly with his preferred right foot, there was nothing the keeper could do but, watch the ball go in helplessly.
