In the wake of allegations that large technology companies receive secret court “FISA” orders for customer information, including private data, many have fought for the right to share the extent and reach of these requests. After continuous refusal by the government, Microsoft and Google, rivals, have joined in seeking to legally force the presentation of more information to the public about this practice.

Unlike the chain of coffee stores you may see in Canada and the rest of the world, “McCafé” in the United States was introduced in 2007 as a line of “premium” coffee products. Following Starbucks-similar lattes, frappés, and frozen shakes, the line was designed to both challenge Dunkin Donuts and high-end chain coffee stores, as well as give a more youthful, coffeeshop-oriented feel.
In some countries, these are fully independent stores!

Unlike its pinto bean brothers, Chipotle’s black beans are entirely vegan. Slow-cooked with the same spices and herbs, minus the bacon, they take on a slightly sweet, salty taste.

Following the June 26, 2013 repeal of the Defense of Marriage Act, the Treasury and IRS were required to update the tax code to reflect the full benefit status of same-sex couples. Despite opposition from some individual states, all legally married same sex couples are given the same status as a “traditionally” married couple.
