The “wigger” attitude will not go down well with the actual gangsters. People try to act like they live in the hood without the actual life, making them prime targets for actually justified hate.

Bun B on his verse:

“In the South, I’m regarded as the guy who, quote unquote, out-rapped Jay-Z. A lot of Southern rappers would say that. Not saying that I’m a better rapper than Jay-Z, but I was able to out-rap Jay-Z on a track. The reality is that I probably took that song [“Big Pimpin’”] a whole lot more seriously than Jay-Z. Because that was a lackadaisical, laid-back party track, and I attacked it. You know, for me, I’m a rapper. And I’m on it with Jay-Z.”

The above lyrics are changed, to show the narrator is “just following orders.” This plays off of the common defense at the post-WWII Nuremberg trials of Nazi leadership. Rather than take responsibility for war crimes, many claimed to have been “just following orders,” a defense that was rejected.

The guns are ready, the orders to come inside the door and probably shoot who’s inside are coming through (seemingly the radio). The entire process highlights the collective mentality of it all: if no one person can be blamed, then no one person can feel full guilt.

Yuck was a rock band active from 2009-2021. The band was formed in London, England by Daniel Blumberg and Max Bloom, both of whom provided guitar and vocals. They were soon joined by bassist and vocalist Mariko Doi, and drummer Jonny Rogoff.

After being present for the recording and release of their debut self-titled album in 2011, Yuck would announce in 2013 that Daniel Blumberg had left the band to focus on his own music. He was replaced in the lineup by guitarist Ed Hayes.

Yuck would go on to release two more studio albums, 2014’s Glow and Behold and 2016’s Stranger Things.

After a period of inactivity, the band would announce that they would no longer be touring or releasing new music. This announcement came on the ten year anniversary of their debut album
