Again me dropping out of college didn’t sit well with some, including my parents. I just couldn’t do it anymore, plus it didn’t help that my student loans were piling up. A college degree doesn’t matter now a days, at least to me. As long as you’re doing something with your life, you’re gonna be good.

I dropped out out of college in May of 2015. This was probably my first adult decision. Of course I knew people closer to me were disappointed. But I knew I had to make the decision for my life. I needed to do that in order to keep my sanity, otherwise I would’ve drove myself crazy trying to get that degree

Every time I talked to my family, people at church, or wherever, they just kept telling me how my life should me. For example, “you need to go back to school”, “you need a job with benefits.” Although I knew where their heart was, I became more rebellious and more resentment towards them.

Felt like everybody was trying to discourage me (maybe not purposely) to not purse my dreams. So at some point I felt like I was being pulled in different directions. Didn’t really know who to listen to at all
