Lucio Bukowski, de son vrai nom Ludovic Villard, est un rappeur emblématique du collectif de L'Animalerie.

Il est l'auteur d'un nombre considérable de projets ; et se revendique fièrement comme étant un artiste indépendant, sans signature, qui n'a jamais cédé au chant des sirènes des grandes majors du milieu de la musique.

Dans une interview datant de 2011, donnée au média spécialisé Le Rap en France, il évoque son histoire : de son enfance dans la banlieue Lyonnaise, à ses débuts dans l'écriture de poèmes et de nouvelles (à l'âge de 15-16 ans), jusqu'à ses débuts dans le rap.

Concernant l'explication de son nom de scène, elle fait directement référence au célèbre Henry Charles Bukowski, poète et écrivain américain du 20ème siècle.

On ne retient jamais d’un auteur ce qu’il eut voulu qu’on retienne de lui et de son œuvre. Pour Charles Bukowski, c’est l’enfermement dans le triple-thème putes-alcool-courses.

Tiers-Monde est un artiste signé sur le label indépendant Havrais Din Records. Autrefois appelé “Pad”, il était membre du groupe Bouchées Doubles avec Brav' (Ibrah).

Son premier projet solo, intitulé Black to the future, sort en 2014. La même année, il sort ensuite son premier album solo, intitulé Toby or not Toby.

En 2016, il annonce son retour sur le devant de la scène avec un deuxième album solo, intitulé No Future, dans lequel il annonce le nom de son prochain album : Mamadou, tiré de son prénom, toujours pas sorti à ce jour.

Tiers Monde sort en 2019 un manga intitulé Nako, en collaboration avec le dessinateur Maxime Masgrau

À l'époque où Chill disait cela, il approchait de la trentaine. Il disait donc que lorsqu'il était gosse, la violence existait déjà, et il met en avant le fait qu'elle a toujours existé.

Pourtant aujourd'hui, quelques années plus tard, les médias nous font croire que la violence à l'école est un phénomène récent.

Qui a parlé de peur, d'insécurité et d'élection ?

Dans la biographie “La Face B” de Akhenaton, sortie en 2010, ce dernier développe et appuie cette phase du morceau, en mettant en avant les conditions scolaires des quartiers défavorisés de Marseille à son époque : violence, trafics et délinquance existaient déjà, mais personne n'en parlait dans les médias.

Constat : entre la sortie du morceau “Petit Frère” en 1997 et la biographie d'Akhenaton sortie treize ans plus tard, en 2010, rien n'a changé (mis-à-part la mise en lumière de ces évènements par les médias).

De manière assez surprenante, ce morceau léger s'est retrouvé sur la mouture finale d'un album majoritairement sombre et chargé de métaphores en tous genres. On peut penser qu'il s'est retrouvé là pour faire office de contre-poids dans une sélection finale qui, sans ça, aurait donné l'impression d'être trop pesante.

Cela n'est pas sans plaisir de retrouver l'art du story-telling des marseillais, bien plus présent sur leurs premiers albums. L'humour, qui les caractérisait également depuis 1989, est bienvenu.

Voici l'introduction d'un des meilleurs albums de rap français. Très technique, flow soutenu, vocabulaire étendu et plume habile. IAM nous dévoile ici un véritable classique qui nous donne, nous aussi, envie de faire partie de cette fameuse “Ecole du Micro d'Argent” et de combattre à leurs côtés sur le champ de bataille.
