The dream of living off your art is indeed a big one. You need to gather fans, create a product that sounds like you, but at the same time is appealing to a good amount of people. You can’t forget that you need to reach these future fans somehow.

That big puzzle as a whole is enough to make most people give up.

Having someone telling you what to do and how to do it blocks creativity and is counterproductive when working with an art form like music.

If you want to really make something unique, the “rules” and theory of music aren’t always the most pertinent aspects of the artistic process. It’s important to take a step back and simply let your creativity flow, without any limitations.

Listen to what happens after his words stop. Listen to the orchestral arrangement kick in. Putting classical orchestration (and later electric guitar riffs) into an electronic, synth-powered song like this is just one example of Daft Punk putting Giorgio’s concept of “You can do whatever you want” into practice. This immediately shows what we are capable of doing through the manipulation of music, and a willingness to bend the rules.

Giorgio Moroder recorded a monologue about his life in a vocal booth containing microphones ranging from the 1960s to present day for this particular song.

Giorgio Moroder is an Italian record producer, who gained mainstream attention through his album entirely made of synthesizers, From Here To Eternity.

Giorgio is known for his unorthodox way of creating music, sampling sound effects in an unconventional way, like the “dropping metallic objects” sound in his famous song “Chase”.

Given his importance to the development of early dance and house music, it would appear that this song is in dedication to or intended as a celebration of his work, and also a tribute from Daft Punk themselves, who were likely inspired by his sound as they began to craft their own names in the early dance scene.

The repetition found in this bridge is highly characteristic of Daft Punk’s vocoder-driven previous catalogue. A notable example of Daft’s implementation of traditional EDM repetition is in “Around the World”, which consists of a single phrase 144 times.

Luda’s debut was in 2000, while Master P’s label was founded in ‘90.

Luda didn’t sign to no limits, but his 2nd album had production very similar to No limits producers' southern sound, that’s probably why Stick refers to him comming from his nuts.

Master P’s label filed for bankruptcy due to various lawsuits, in 2003, that’s what he refers to when he says “when P had a limit.”
