There’s a lot to unpack here:

Gucci Mane is the Trap God, and God’s son, Jesus, performed a miracle where hewalked on water.

In terms of crack, “walk on water” refers to cutting cocaine, or adding things such as baking soda and water to make it into crack, an adulterated form of the drug. The phrase also refers to how, while cooking crack in a pot, the crack rocks will begin to slide across the top of the water.

Essentially Gucci Mane is the Trap God because he takes high-quality coke and cuts it into crack that retains a high-quality due to the cocaine he uses.

The point of the song is that Smokey Robinson is vying for his lady because he cheated on her.

In this scenario the lady is cheating on Wayne, and Wayne is singing the song in the mirror. Fits in with the whole theme of the song in which Wayne is pleading that he is completely over his last relationship.

Clearly Wayne’s pickup game is so strong he probably was a pimp in last life.

Genius.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was all about nonviolence, but Rocky claims to be the “trill Martin Luther,” who forsakes that principle and itches to use his Ruger firearms.

A$AP Mob are based in Harlem, which Malcolm X has an extensive history with; perhaps MLK’s most notable connection to Harlem was when he was stabbed by a mentally disturbed woman at a book signing there.

One of the bigger disagreements during the Civil Rights movement concerned X’s “by any means necessary” approach to equality and MLK’s more peaceful route, and judging by the rest of the song, A$AP Mob sides with the former. Malcolm X was the face of the Nation of Islam for a time, and later converted to Sunni Islam, so his army would be Muslim by extension.

Rocky addresses Asian, black, Jewish, Mexican, white, and Middle Eastern people here respectively, all of whom have been held back by oppression at some point in their lives. He illustrates this point by referring to them with derogatory names.

This essentially serves as a call to action. The cause Rocky wants them to rally around seems to be equality, and he spends the rest of his verse outlining his violent plan to attain it.

This talking about women. Women remind him of drugs, addiction. Do anything to get close to her, and then lose it all and left with that feeling of want. An addiction. Like holding on to spoon and hoping that the heroin will appear for the next fix. Looking at the spoon as a source of pleasure. Dope.
