This is a play on the traditional term for pH balance, which is usually applied to determine how acidic a solution is, pH in this case standing for penthouse.
Water, which he alludes to in the mention of coasts, lands right around the middle of the pH scale (from approximately 6.5 to 8.5), i.e. in balance.
In this case, to balance out the fact that Gambino already has a penthouse on one side of the country, so why not get a second one on the opposite and have an equal balance? Gambino recorded Because The Internet in a mansion called the Palisades in Los Angeles, so the penthouse on the other coast might be in the Hamptons in New York.
Lastly, he could be saying that he is not “basic”: the pH scale has acids on one side and bases on the other.

Whether you like it not–and whether Gambino’s history may strictly show it or not–he still represents one of the most honest characters in hip hop. This line could also be a reference to the flow on the “rap battle” with SupaHotFire, which uses similar comedic punchlines and references.
In addition, this line contributes to the idea of real vs fake through the concept of simply claiming that he hangs with “real niggas”. anyone to say “nigga” on the Web with no serious consequences. In conclusion, anyone can claim that they know criminals. Anyone can claim that they have credence to say “nigga”. However, because of the Internet, you can never 100% know who’s real and who’s lying.
If you look at the track as a poof of mainstream rap/rap artist, this line make fun of the usual habit in the hip-hop world: well-known artists (Jay-Z, Ye etc.) help young rapers, producing their albums etc. Some of them get publicity just because of the big names behind them.
