Chance is addressing his older family members while reminiscing about good times with his relatives—including learning to hunt and having an afro that resembles the one that his father has/had.
By comparing his afro to the one from his dad while saying “I know you still remember me,” Chance could be stating that there is similarity in how he’s behaving now and how his father, and presumably most of the “generation above” him, also behaved when they were young.
BLAM! is used as a gunshot onomatopoeia in cartoon shows and comic books, a common theme in this song. It’s a fitting end to the verse, similar to how a gunshot can end a life.
