Guinness is a popular dry stout beer, which origins from Dublin – The capital of Ireland.

Dr. Dre’s debut-album – Chronic was released in 1992, which apparently his dad listened to, so Rejjie grew up from a baby listening to rap music.
ACCEPTED SUGGESTION: The syntax of the sentence (the order of the words) makes it seem as if rejjie was talking about having/smoking chronic (the strain/type of cannabis) in his room, then it is revealed by the “daddy would play” that he is talking about his father playing Dr. Dre’s The Chronic.
He’s comparing the relationship between hip hop and recreational cannabis use.
