Funerals are always the time when friends and family celebrate the life of one who has passed away.

The calm before the storm is “a period of unusual tranquillity or stability that seems likely to presage difficult times”.

This line, and the ones to follow refer to the death of a person and the struggles that occur because of the incident.

1. “see you ain’t saw but the talent is raw”. This could mean that people never saw past the normal person they thought he was to understand the talent that he possesses.

2. It could also be referring to a seesaw or in fact the absence of one. “see you ain’t saw but the talent is raw” might mean that his talent is at a constant high rather than up and down like a seesaw.

1. It could be taken as “I’ve been here in this before”. Meaning he’s been through it before with fights to get fucked over by people.

2. It could also mean “I’ve been hearing this before”. Meaning he’s heard lots of stories about people getting beat up and fucked over by friends.

This hook is a take off the hook used by Joey Badass in his version of Suspect. The hook was first written by Nas in the original version of Suspect

The lyrics are pretty simple to breakdown. It is saying, watch out because you could get jumped or front tonight. Meaning you could get beaten up or fucked over. Putting on a front means to put on a fake personality to manipulate other people.

No one ever believes that there life will be taken from them early. But as we always know, death is inevitable and it could happen to anyone at anytime. It happened to my mate Jacob way to early and I will never forgive death for taking my mate from me so soon. R.I.P buddy!

When you have you life planned out it seems like nothing can stop you from achieving what you want and you want need anything or anyone to fall back on.

When you stare up at the sun it is so bright that if you stared at it for long enough you will go blind. If you have ever been fucked over by a friend, this will metaphor will remind you of them. Once they have fucked you over they will have been pushed out of your life and therefor be ‘blind’ from your life.

I’m sure everyone thinks that their friends will always be there for them no matter what. But sometimes friends can turn against you and fuck you over.
