The COGS from Gears of War also borowed heavily from Warhammer 40K. Especially with the COGS use of the Lancer, a rifle with a chainsaw for a bayonet. The Warhammer 40K Space Marines used a weapon called a chainsword. This is also a play on words considering the movie “Texas Chainsaw Massacre”
