That double meaning

Puss connotates some pussy from girls that would be dirty enough that Earl and his team can hit them with some cunnilingus, sex, and mustard. Dirty means freaky when used to describe anything related to sex but, here Earl also uses it to state that the girl also has to be dirty much like a car can be dirty.

Cars are labelled as dirty when there are illegal activities going on inside of the car (illicit drugs, no license, etc.) thus the girl must also be a naughty girl, a naughty dirty pussy. Did we mention Earl stole the car also?

Puss as in “pus” forms at the sight of an infection, being a runny discharge. Earl and the crew are looking for some pus niggas which would be weak-flowing rappers, runny at best, which could be easily picked apart by Earl and Co..

Guess who’s in the streets bitches

A pun since the cut is referring to vagina or an open wound. Goes with the next part of how the puss is like pus since it’s the sign of infection.

Can be taken in two contexts:

  • With his shifting third person perspective, this line can be taken as a sort of negative undertone in Soulo’s thinking, which is attempting to convince him to “take money, make money money money”, as his TDE labelmate ScHoolboy Q put it (50 cent said it first though). Simply take the gun and kill, steal – do anything you can do to make money with that weapon.
  • A reference to how the way those in power make money: war. War is the most profitable business, and we have a burgeoning military-industrial complex whose goal is simply to make weapons to sell to both sides in times of war. All they think about is the money, and they spend their efforts convincing each side to “grab the burner” since the complex will be selling it.

In a way, this line is similar in meaning to one of Gandhi’s more powerful quotes:

Poverty is the worst form of violence

Soulo’s poverty (and the poverty of any human being) would have left trauma that compels one to use violence as a means of earning money they’ve never had. Such violence results in the poor pouring their money into weapons and arms; provided by none other than our friendly arms manufactures. They then go on to help fund wars that our government spends most of its money on, neglecting poverty.

Thus…

The cycle continues.

As Nas states in the line below, Black Jason was a close friend of his. The scene he lays out is him and his homie, getting drunk or in the process of getting drunk, as they arrive at the Apollo Theatre in 1989.

The Apollo Theatre in Harlem, New York is by far the most famous performance venue associated with African American entertainers, whether they be musicians or actors.

Presumably a description of the commonly used “Magical Negro” trope: a minority who steps, momentarily, into the life of a more privileged character to impart knowledge or wisdom which may help to enrich said character’s life.

Here the “magical negro” is the old man who takes Nas aside to warn him of the dangers facing him, without actually pointing them out specifically, common among “Magic Negro” characters who exist to serve or enrich those of privilege without taking glory or action theirselves.

Well what is he? A patriot is defined as:

A person who vigorously supports their country and is prepared to defend it against enemies or detractors.

When the program Snowden leaked was found unconstitutional then the judgement was sealed and program enacted regardless, would it be safe to say that supporting the program despite that ruling would be detracting from the nation’s core values as espoused in our founding documents? Would he be supporting his country by leaking consciously unconstitutional programs whose rulings were suppressed?

If not, what about a whistle-blower. A whistle-blower is defined as:

an informant who exposes wrongdoing within an organization in the hope of stopping it

Again, if Snowden leaked PRISM and PRISM was ruled unconstitutional but continued anyway, would he not be exposing wrongdoing in hopes of stopping it? Or would that be too much, considering Obama promised to protect all whistle blowers. An ill-mentioned cavet, down the memory hole because it would force his hand in not only the closed Manning case, but Snowden and Assange and all the whistle blowers the United States prosecutes.

But nothing…

Obama points the finger at Russia for slipping back into the Cold War mentality, but it’s important to ask if they have a “Cold War Budget Without A Cold War”. Our budget exceeds that of the Cold War or any other “threatening time” for that matter and yet we spend more than most of the developed world (including allies) combined.

Obama once supported the very reforms to the NSA surveillance programs that he desperately condemned only last week, the House amendment viewable here.

Obama was in-fact a co-sponsor of the bill which would have limited the NSA’s programs, in addition to co-sponsoring another bill which would have again restricted the right of the NSA to place surveillance or data collection nets on domestic citizens of the United States. He would eventually reverse his position, much like he reversed his position on all reforms he supported and restrictions against the National Security Agency.

What happened Mr. President?

Some days, the very first thing Obama may do is approve names on a kill list, ready to be struck by drones. Drones, however, have antagonized the whole entire Middle Eastern region and escalated terrorism due to the high civilian:militant ratio, making Americans less safe than before.
