My unique perspectives on the game, the state of hip-hop, women, the state of my life and chasing success are all on full display in this song. Ladies is the 7th song of 12 on Jake Legend. It is a tale of a woman and my feelings for her. There is no one woman in particular that I’m speaking of, mainly cuz I’m not a one woman kind of guy. I’m a no woman kind of guy that gets no love, but no need to talk about that right now.

On Tha Edge is track number six on Jake Legend. A bit more focused than most of the tracks on this tape, On Tha Edge depicts me as a legendary/mythical figure viewing the world through a dark lens. The landscape of this song is post-apocalyptic, hence the Matrix references, Bible references, and rhymes about death.

2 Faced, the fourth song on Jake Legend, is a song about seduction and the two perspectives on that seduction. I run down the pros and cons of letting me have my way to a woman before revealing that the woman is hip-hop (in an indirect manner.) It’s cliche, it’s different, it’s cool.

Cadillac Music is a song about marijuana with a hook that’s designed to be catchy and still have substance. It’s the third song on Jake Legend.
