“I Got Cha Opin” was a simple boom bap track but its remix utilizing a sample of Barry White’s “Playing Your Game, Baby” took the song to another level as the single peaked at #93 on the Billboard Hot 100. The remix was released on the single in March 1994 and later included on the Black Moon compilation Diggin' in Dah Vaults in 1996.

In Brian Coleman’s book Check the Technique, producer Evil Dee talked about the original and remix version of “I Got Cha Opin”:

Walt did the original of that one, and we filtered it like crazy. I did the remix, and that was actually the biggest radio hit on the album. Buckshot just loved Barry White, so we had to use that for it. Buckshot still loves Barry White! He begged me to flip that one, but I didn’t want to, because everyone knew that song. Finally I just said: ‘Fuck it, give me the record.’ I was in D&D [Studios] and I just listened to that track for like two hours and then I sat down and did the beat.
