In Islam, this is a miracle performed by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and it is mentioned also in the holy book, the Quran. It is mentioned in Surah 54 known as Al Qamar meaning The Moon.

Lines 1-2 describe how the event was used to validate the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) in Islam. Non-Muslims had asked for this to happen to prove that he has the power to do by Allah. When the miracle was performed, and everyone testified to it, the Non-Muslims accused the Prophet (pbuh) of performing black magic.

In recent discovery, NASA has discovered a fault line in the moon that literally splits it. NASA doesn’t have any concrete evidence regarding how it happened.

Allah (God) will always be there, through hard times and the best. There’s no searching for Him because he is always in our hearts and our minds. Outlandish realize this and also notice the beauty in everything that Allah has created. The whole theme of the song follows this hook. No matter what sins one person has committed, Allah is merciful and will forgive as long as the person has repented with sincerity. At the end of the day, it is Him who truly cares for us and will always help us through.

In the Quran, the holy scripture in Islam, it’s stated in Surah 2: Ayat 107 (chapter 2: line 107): Do you not know that Allah’s is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and that besides Allah you have no guardian or helper?

A lot of critics and judgmental people in this world question Outlandish motives for rapping about religion. The concept is quite controversial and even Outlandish question themselves whether they are talking about their religious beliefs to invoke controversy and attention for fame and money or if they are truly trying to send a message to the world out there.

The vibes from these lines tie in with the previous lines about being your own worst enemy and not knowing who you really are and what you really need in life to be happy. Self doubt is everywhere.

Repeating the phrase “God is great” in Arabic is “Allahu akbar,” also known as Takbir.

At the end of each time Muslims pray, they recite several types of prayers where they are asking Allah for what they need. At the time, they also repeat several phrases over and over again, anywhere from 33 times to more. They either use their fingers to count (counting each division on each finger as = to one word) or use a rosary (tasbheeh in arabic).

The main 3 phrases usually are:
Allau Akbar = God is great
Alhamdulillah = Praise to God
Subhan'Allah = God is glorious

When repeating the phrases, one is very quick and the words almost slip off the tongue like a whispering chant. The rapper compares how fast Twista can rap to him reciting Allahu Akbar and no matter how fast he is, it doesn’t matter because he isn’t understanding or feeling the words. Sometimes, we pray and read the holy book and go to church and just nod to religious sermons/sayings/ hadiths but we do not really comprehend the underlying concept or the main objective of the activity.

Note that many Muslims that do not speak Arabic find themselves struggling often because of the language barrier since the Holy Quran and all the prayers are in Arabic. Having to look up every verse makes a person feel like they are on RG.

We are our own worst enemy. We don’t need to fight the devil. We are busy just fighting ourselves, every day, all the time. Our low self esteem, ignorance, weak will, and a lack of compassion towards people is what prevents us from winning in life.

Metaphorically speaking, he feels empty inside because he lacks the true knowledge of life, touched on by the line previous to this one. He is asking to be fed, therefore asking for answers to fulfill his curiosity and hunger for a satisfied life. Note: he is starving, therefore he is not going to last much longer in this condition. This could mean he is suicidal and this is his last cry out for help.

No matter how much we read, how much knowledge we absorb from the world, how many classes we take, we will never be able to understand life or be content with what our destiny has to offer us. The reason for this is because if we have not analyzed ourselves, our flaws, our needs, our wants, and what makes us happy, we will never be able to find joy in living.

This is also a point made towards believers of any religion, be it Islam or not. Reading the holy book doesn’t mean the person has a great comprehension of their self.

Unfortunately, the world we live in, you either get walked over on, or you do the walking. The good and innocent in this world often end up dealing with the bad and the corruption. Even though the fairy tales emphasize “The Good Always Wins,” in reality, it’s the opposite. It’s sorrow that the good person referenced above will sit in, hoping for the tables to turn and for Karma to pay a visit; and eventually they die waiting. Point: Good people suffer.

Refers to the “hum of the hive.” This is when you can hear the group of bees from a distance. You feel the vibration and hear the buzzing, coming near in speed. This is equivalent to hearing the speed of Tonedeff’s delivery in a rap song, way before he even starts rapping!
