1. Upper hand means advantage. Could be word play in reference to the line before. Rubber band snapping right back = she is coming right back. When she is pushed down, she comes up to fight

2. Upper hand could mean upper cut which in boxing means to swing the arm low and punch someone upwards (such as right below chin). A lot of the times, that is how the boxer gains control of the situation after receiving multiple blows, therefore, “coming right back.”

Tonedeff is going to school us on what happens once you have had the taste of sex. You become an addict and it becomes hard to resist. Tonedeff is very open with his sexual innuendos throughout out the song and at times, quite direct.
