Young brown V-Nasty let a nigga live National Anthem (Remix) by Das Racist (Ft. Lana Del Rey)

Comparing himself to V-Nasty because of the fact that he’s not black (but he is half-black!) and he says nigga. V-Nasty is a white girl who has been known to say nigga and gets hated on a lot. Vic using this comparison is actually really funny, and he then goes on to say nigga a couple more times as if proving he can get away with it.

Take this driver seat, hope you fastened
Your seatbelts twice,
Push Thru by Talib Kweli (Ft. Curren$y & Kendrick Lamar)

Telling society to symbolically try and play chicken with Kendrick and be extra prepared for the crash that he will hit them with. Notice the car crash/seatbelt wordplay and imagery.

Too many daps you might receive from the things you achieve, relax Push Thru by Talib Kweli (Ft. Curren$y & Kendrick Lamar)

Maybe a Das Racist reference. Dap is their hypeman and their debut album was called Relax. Heems has interviewed Kendrick Lamar.

The meaning: some rappers put out a few songs, everyone tells them how good they are, and then they get a big head. Then they think everything they do is fire, put out a bunch of shitty songs (or albums, if they’re lucky), and you never hear from them again. This is possibly Kendrick telling himself not to get overconfident from his very warm reception into rap.

My G chat grey A Different World by Kool A.D. (Ft. Heems & Meyhem Lauren) 3

Das Racist is known to use Gchat to communicate lyrics to each other, and this is not the first time they’ve mentioned it.

When you turn your gchat to “invisible” mode, the symbol next to your name displays in grey.

Mama still wish the kid a surgeon A Different World by Kool A.D. (Ft. Heems & Meyhem Lauren) 3

Heems' mom wishes he picked a guaranteed-lucrative and well-respected career such as being a surgeon (his ethnicity also suggests that she might be a tiger mom), but instead, he took his prestigious education from Wesleyan and parlayed that into a rap career.
