Charles “Peanut” Tillman got his nickname from his aunt as a baby because his body shape supposedly resembled that of a peanut. His ball-stripping playing style gained media attention in 2012 when he set the record for the most forced fumbles in a season, and the term “Peanut punch” was born.

He is also known sometimes (usually during a certain two Sundays per year) by the name “Optimus Prime,” from consistently shutting down dominant Detroit WR Calvin Johnson, also known as Megatron.
