I had to pay homage to one of my favorite players and one of the great pure hitters of our time here. Young retired without getting that ring but he finished his career with an impressive career .300 average, .346 OBP along with 2375 hits making him the Rangers all time hits leader.

Also I forgot to draft this team, but I’m pretty happy with the results. Except for Werthless.

Lines phrased by Alex as a mock warning not to listen to their music. It refers to bloggers and critics who have decided they don’t like the new upstart band, without ever giving them a chance.

The words clinically and hereditary serve to show that these guys have no real basis for their dislike of the music other than the fact that their programmed to go against the norm and not like the next big thing. It’s part of their nature to be contrary.

After the Arctic Monkeys blew up from the success of their first album there were plenty of people who either doubted their second album would be a success or didn’t think the band was all that special and deserved the recognition.

Brady has played most of the season without his most important target Gronkowski. You can see from that statistics below that Gronk is a huge target, especially in the red zone and on third down. Gronk not only catches the ball, he blocks well and draws an extra defender, freeing up teammates for an open pass.

Furthermore, Wes Welker is now on the Broncos and Aaron Hernandez is in prison, robbing Brady of players that were also big targets in years past. Instead, Tom has had to work with rookies, injury prone Danny Amendola, and former college QB Julian Edleman. To Edleman’s credit he has had a phenomenal year, but the rest of the group has struggled to get on the same page as their QB. Factor in the key injuries on defense to Wilfork, Mayo and even Talib who has missed time and Brady may be playing with the least talented team he has ever had. It’s been a struggle, but after all this Brady has led the team to a division title and given them a chance to win twelve games this season. And let’s not forget controversial calls costing the Patriots opportunities to win both against the Carolina Panthers and the New York Jets. Or the dramatic come back wins against New Orleans and Cleveland. Or the game against Denver where the Bronco’s were spotted 17 points and Brady still led his team to a win over Peyton Manning. Brady is at the helm of a playoff bound team, a team that with a win on Sunday moves to 8 and 0 at Gillette Stadium and secures the number two spot in the AFC.

So the question is, does this make Brady the MVP of the league?

This came as no surprise since Skip is a notorious Patriot homer. The real question is whether he has a point or not?

Wolf was hit or miss for me but this track really stuck out. Tyler doesn’t sacrifice any off his brashness but there is a certain self reflection going on in the song that is interesting. Really just a cool song I kept coming back to all year.

BARS! BARS! BARS! Run the Jewels was dope and they gave it away for free. I spun “ Get It” the most this year off the album.

This album really caught me by surprise and changed my whole opinion on Mac Miller, starting right on track number one.

So polite and white, but I got family who would murder for me

Lyrically this shows that there’s more to Mac than just weed and parties, and I really dug the self reflection. Overall, WMWTSO was one of my favorite releases all year, this being the song I spun the most.
