“Mechanix” is a euphemism for sex, as the song uses metaphors to describe the action.
This was originally a Metallica song written by Dave on the Power Metal and No Life ‘til Leather demos. A reworked version of “Mechanix”, titled “The Four Horsemen”, appears on Metallica’s first album Kill 'Em All. It also has different lyrics.
if it is going to mention Metallica demos it is worth mentioning that Mechanix is one of the songs Mustaine already was playing in his previous band called Panic, said by himself on his book.
