Apparently Warner Bros. has warrented a “No Jokes” Policy. Now, I don’t know if this has more to do with the tone of the movie or if there’s going to be no jokes in any point of these movies.

If the latter is true, this WILL be the biggest mistake that DC/WB has made since Green Lantern. Which might have to be the reason that they made this policy. I don’t think WB exec. realizes that it wasn’t the light hearted tone of GL that made the movie suck, it was the story itself. Ryan Reynolds being jokey and fun helped more than it hurt.

If the latter is true, all this policy does is just make me fearful that Shazam or The Flash isn’t going to be part of this DC Cinematic Universe. If the former is true then it’s all good DC/WB

Yeah, Flash is known for his lightheartedness. I know that we’re not going to be doing Wally West, but it’s not like Barry Allen is some stick in the mud.

The point is that I don’t want any Flahs to be super serious with no sense of humor. Plus, I’ve seen jokes in Snyder vision….eh.

Snyderized!

Just look at that amazing lack of color in a Wonder Woman costume. Idk if it’s just the editing of the picture, but where’s the blue, where’s the red. Even the gold looks faded.

I never thought that I would watch a Superman movie with the same tone as Batman. This could come off as a personal thing, but I don’t think I’m the only person that feels this way.

The only characters that should have the same tone as that should be Nightwing, The Question, and Green Arrow….maybe.

I might have to take that back. Apparently, New Line President, Toby Emmerich says and I quote:

“It feels to me like Shazam will have a tone unto itself,” he explains. “It’s a DC comic, but it’s not a Justice League character, and it’s not a Marvel comic. The tone and the feeling of the movie will be different from the other range of comic book movies… [It] will have a sense of fun and a sense of humor. But the stakes have to be real.”

Uhhh….ok?

Idk what this guy is talking about, but I didn’t start off reading the Shazam comics. So ever instance in where I saw the Captain, HE WAS IN THE JUSTICE LEAGUE.

I’m glad that the Shazam movie has a sense of fun and humor, but why the fuck does no one in the Justice League have this shit if Shazam’s not connected for that movie?

So this is bacically telling me that all Justice League members movies are gonna be depressing?

Originally, Uncle D was just a con man that served as comic relief for the Marvel Family, as Uncle Marvel. Later when re-introduced he was shown to be a janitor that helped take care of this homeless boy and found out he was Captain Marvel.

Recently we’ve seen him as just to be the legal guardian of Billy Batson in Young Justice. However unlike some other teen hero, Uncle Dudley was fully aware that he was Shazam. That’s the origin I’m hoping that writers are going to have him as in this Shazam movie.

Who could play Uncle Dudley?

Mary Batson is the twin sister of Billy if you haven’t already guessed. They were separated when they were still young and she was kidnapped by The Rock. It’s a whole bunch of a coincedental shit that happens that gets Mary back with her brother but through all this, she ends up becoming Mary Marvel.

She’s necessary because this could give a motivation for Billy to want to defeat Adam AND in future events, Mary turns into a antagonist because of the evil influence of Darkseid (a presumed villian for the Justice League movie). If you’re thinking like I am, this makes for great drama between characters for the Shazam sequal and Justice League movie or sequal.

Who could play Mary Batson?

With the fail at the box office that the first film generated, you’d think that a sequal wouldn’t even be in the discussion. However, a Time Warner executive isn’t certain about that.

DC, this is your chance!
