This sentiment can be assumed to be manifested from the ridiculous notion that rappers worship Obama. Especially since the barrage of rap songs supporting Obama during his first election.
Unfortunately for Bill, Obama can’t tell guys to turn their hat forward or stop selling drugs.
She feels a resentment from her father. Most likely do to falling out that they had which made her want to pack her stuff and leave. So not only does she not call him daddy. She won’t even call me daddy just to give me the sexual pride. Or it’s could be that the sex was bad.

This shutter is a reference to a camera shutter. In photography, a shutter is a device that allows light to pass for some time, to expose the sensor (for digital cameras) or negatives to light in order to take a picture.
If there is no light in the shutters then the picture is blurry and dull. Later in the song, she sheds some light on the situation and the picture becomes clear.

The reason that I started with this line is because of the tone of the beat. And it was raining when I wrote it.
The rain also signifies how I feel when I’m meeting this woman there.

In the line before last, I reference to the show Diff'Rent Strokes. There is a very indirrect reference to the famous line…

Different strokes can be interpreted 2 or more ways:
- switching sex positions: You can just use your imagination.
- wanting to meet different people:In the beginning of the verse I established that this girl broke my heart and this interpretation would take place after we had sex, instead of during like the one above. Now it’s perfectly clear that she wants a different man for strokes.
- This is a reference to the 70’s sitcom, Different Strokes.
As well as a REALLY indirect reference to a famous Gary Coleman line that will come up next line.
Lonely strokes is referring to masturbation.

To sum this up, what I’m trying to express about this girl is that her inability to choose if she wants to be with me or not is hurting my hopes of being together. That puts me in my feels to be in a space where no one cares about my feels.
