This entire point was inspired, from a post made by @Skizza306 in a Hopsin thread in the RG Forums. When I saw it, I thought he was dabbling to deep into the song and just straight up nitpicking. However, when I listened to the song again, I really understood what he meant.

I just realized that if Hopsin can rap, so his writing is already well developed, but if he incorporated these elements into his lyrics (at least when he’s telling a story) he’ll just become a all around better writer.

I don’t understand

I just feel that this song is more ominous than The Fiends Are Knocking is. If this song started off the album, it would’ve triggered my inner hipster:

However, take Dizzy Wright off of this. Take Jarren off of this. Put in the fixes from my next paragraph? This shit could’ve been the best song on the album .

How can I tell Hopsin what’s going to be on an Ill Mind? It’s his Ill Mind dammit!

Just because the bars have “no substance”, does not mean they are any less dope. I’m not saying that Hopsin’s rapping is bad.

I didn’t really care for that beat a whole lot. Hopsin has shown sneak peeks of instrumentals of the songs that could have been on Knock Madness, and there are alot more instrumentals that I think should’ve replaced this one.

If Hopsin was ever to read this review. I want to ask him to particularly pay attention to the things that are italicized because those are the things I’m actually asking him.

Regardless of what people think of this review. I would just like Hopsin to read it so he can think about everything that I said and get better. I’d also like to have a talk with him so I can give him some insight in how the world and people do things.

I’m not saying that I know everything about everybody, but I think that if Hop talks to some different people in different situations that he would understand more. To be honest, I just don’t want Hop to retire after this or his next album. I want him to grow passed this.
