“Violet” describes Daniel Caesar chasing his dreams of becoming an R&B artist, but is still far from becoming a reality. The title is inspired by a girl he “hanged around with.” Daniel went over the music video’s concept in an interview with Billboard:

In the video, if you pick up on it, Ellis Nakata (co-star) was really just a figment of my imagination. She represents everything that I desire, and everything that I’m striving for. Before I moved to the city I spent every Saturday sitting in church wishing I could be living on my own, doing what I wanted. I think this video portrays that.

Rating: Nice.

I’m going to be giving you who are my favorite characters, villains, and moments. As well as my absolute worst character, villain, and moment. I don’t wanna leave this series on a bad note so I’ll be starting with my bottom everything.

This review will be spoiler heavy so if you have not read or watched Naruto or if you are watching the anime then you can go down to the Overview (Non-Spoiler) for the overview of the series.

Black thoughts – Frank is not a stranger to dark morbid thoughts. Even going so far to admit that does get depressed and he does struggle with the melancholy mindset.

White bitch – There are two things that Frank could be talking about of course. “White Bitch” could be referring to a Caucasian female, preferably a PAWG OR he could mean white girl, aka cocaine; in which he’s selling it or he’s snorting it.

Black Rambo – Rambo is depicted as an extremely strong and extremely tough man. UGLYFRANK is comparing himself to Rambo. Strong, Tough, and willing to go into dangerous situations without worry.

Dwayne Michael Carter Jr. dropped the “D” when making a rap name because Dwayne was his father’s name, and his father was never a part of his life. “Lil” comes from Wayne being a junior. It could also mention his young age and short stature, but now we can assume he means in this we can assume he means Birdman JR.

Carter’s additional nickname, “Lil Weezy,” is a reference to his state of birth, “Louisi(ana)”

Ab-Soul explained this in the outro of Me & Ms. Pain, from his Longterm Mixtape:

Ab-Soul, it derives from absolute-ly of course. Absolutely
It’s genuine, Precise was my first, one of my first names
Changed that cause of copyright issues. Then it became Absolute, changed that cause of copyright issues. Then it became Ab-Soulute, changed that cause of copyright issues. Ab-Soul just stuck, it’s just been workin' for me.

It’s soulful, like, this type of music you’re doing is soul, hip-hop soul. Is it in that sense or what?. Hey, funny story, like Soul, I added the soul because my sister was doing this production. The Dream Girls, right, and I seen Jimmy Hurley in the part when he be like “Jimmy got soul, Jimmy got soul, Jimmy got, Jimmy got, Jimmy got soulll!”
