One of the most looked down upon terms in RG today. Real Hip-Hop often refers to the “Golden Age” as the greatest time period of the genre.

Real Hip-Hop has become an even more popular term when Kendrick Lamar came onto the scene with a critically acclaimed album and his verse that shook the elitist world

It is also rumored that real hip-hop died with Phil Walker

These fruits give the users a power that can affect their body, manipulate the environment, or produce substances. Basically, anything that is weird af is a paramecia.

The primary focus on the fighting styles of users does not have to rely on the physical strengths or fighting skills of the individual themselves, and is usually more focused on the users' creativity and initiative. The Paramecia group, therefore, can make fighters out of even weak individuals.

Brook a.k.a Humming Brook or Soul King is the musician and the 9th member of the Straw Hat Pirates. He ate the Revive Revive Fruit (Yomi Yomi no Mi) and as a result is undead. He is one of the two swordsmen on the Straw Hat Crew.

  • Dream: To reunite with Laboon.
  • Job: Musician
  • Gag: Tells awful skull jokes; Reference to a body part (such as his eyes or ears) and will state that he doesn’t have it; Politely asking to see women’s panties.
  • Death: His entire crew.
  • Bounty: 83,000,000 Beli

Although Brook has a gentleman like appearence, he does lack typical manners. He will burp and fart while eating and is also impatient for food to be served itself (with Luffy). However he will address people in a polite manner of “sir”, “lady” or “madame”.

One of Brook’s distinctive traits is his laugh, “Yohohoho”. Another one is his “skull jokes”. He will get completely depressed if anyone spoils the joke or pays it no mind.

Trivia:

  • Brook’s debut age of 88 years old is a reference to the number of keys on the piano. Now he is 90 years old. His birthday is April 3rd.
  • He is the tallest member of the Straw Hat Pirates at 9'1". His debut height 8'8" is also a reference to piano keys.
  • His laugh is based off the stereotypical pirate song, “Yoho, A Pirates Life for Me”.
  • Luffy wanted to have a musician on the crew before he wanted a doctor or shipwright.
  • Brook’s backstory is inspired from The Rime of the Ancient Mariner
  • If Brook lived in the real world, he’d be Austrian.
