Jeu de sonorités (calembour pour être exact) sur les mots “jambon” et “lard”.

On peut comprendre :
-Des gens bons à la tête de l'Art
-Des jambons à la tête de l'Art
-Des gens bons à la tête de lard
-Des jambons à la tête de lard (si si, c'est possible)

MC Solaar utilise une métaphore comparant ces “gens” à des porcs, en utilisant le champ lexical de ce dernier (jambon, lard).

“Rico” est un artiste de ragga des années 90.

Le FMI rassemble une quantité d'argent assez grande, dont rêvent les gens des bas-fonds, qui ne touchent bien souvent que le RMI.

A noter au passage :
-> une magnifique allitération en “f”
-> une utilisation du terme “fond” sous différentes acceptions ; notamment formant une antithèse entre “bas-fonds” par définition extrêmement pauvres et “fonds du FMI (Fond Monétaire International)” extrêmement riche
-> la magnifique antithèse entre les deux vers, opposant dans le premier “FMI” Fond monétaire international qui a d'innombrables ressources financières, et le RMI (Revenu Minimum d'Insertion), allocation, versée par la caisse d'allocations familiales ou la mutualité sociale agricole, constituant un minimum social, donc fournissant une somme dérisoire, à peine assez pour survivre.

Ces deux vers usent donc abondamment de l'antithèse, du jeu sur les mots “fond” et sonorités pour bien montrer le décalage entre les aspirations, même les rêves des milieux populaires (richesse, opulence), et la réalité qui leur est offerte (misère, survivance sociale).

Ces deux vers sont les deux vers principaux de la chanson, reprenant notamment le “RMI” du titre, comme le montre la fin de la chanson où Solaar les chuchotte presque dans le silence.

A noter que c'est la deuxième chanson de Cinquième As qui fait référence au F.M.I. après Les Colonies.

J'ignore s'il s'agit d'un jeu de mots ou d'une erreur de la part de MC Solaar. On pense bien sûr à la “monoplace” d'Ayrton Senna, c'est-à-dire la Formule-1. Solaar tente-t-il un parallèle avec la génération du monospace dans laquelle le monde riche vit, ou s'est-il simplement trompé de mot pour évoquer le tristement célèbre Senna ?

Senna avait fait une démonstration de l'espace RS (un exemple de démesure stupide).

Je penses qu'il s'agit totalement d'un jeu de mot volontaire, car LE monospace est la voiture symbole de la société de consommation par excellence, conçu pour les familles nombreuses et très pratique pour faire ses courses.
A noter que le pronom utilisé n'est pas le bon, monospace est masculin, tandis qu'en effet monoplace est féminin, un choix fait pour accentuer le parallèle entre les deux mots.
A noter que le thème de la voiture de course n'est pas anodin puisqu'il fait suite au lexique de la vitesse utilisé précédement (speedé, bouscule). Ca lui permet de faire un parallèle entre la consommation frénétique et la recherche de vitesse à tout pris dans une course automobile, quite à risquer le crash, qui est la fin tragique de Ayrton Senna

Notion shakespearienne du monstre aux yeux vert personnifiant la jalousie, évoqué notamment par Iago dans Othello (Acte III, scène 3, vers 165 et 166).

  • Une allitération sifflante : Monstre, aux yeux, synonyme, jalousie, taxe, sahel, juste, jacuzzi.
  • Une prosonomasie : jalousie/jacouzzi.

Le vert rappelle la couleur du dollar américain auquel MC Solaar fait explicitement référence plus loin dans ce morceau.

C'est en toute logique que l'argent est associé à la jalousie, les maux liés aux “biftons” étant le thème principal de la chanson.

Une pacotille est une marchandise sans grande valeur. MC Solaar décrit Caroline comme une fille tellement élégante qu'elle n'a pas besoin de vêtements ou de bijoux de luxe. En anglais on dirait plutôt “trinket” à la place de “pacotille”

A “Pacotille” is a product or good with little value. MC Solaar is describing Caroline as a girl so elegant that she has no need for high end clothes or jewellery. MC Solaar is instead charmed by this “pacotille” or “trinket” style.
