Patrick Grant is a music composer who created a record label called sTRANGEmUSIC in 1998. He sued Tech N9ne and Travis O'Guin in 2004 for using the similar name of their record label Strange Music that was created in 1999. However the court ruled in favor of Tech as the trademarks of both record labels don’t overlap each other sufficiently.

Here’s the full court memorandum and order of the case.

Referencing Eminem lyrics from I’m Back:

I used to give a fuck, now I could give a fuck less
What do I think of success? It sucks, too much press
I’m stressed, too much cess, depressed, too upset
It’s just too much mess,

Iso puts his own spin on it saying that his mental problems are not because of too much fame or too little fame, but because of his genetics which means his kids likely also inherited his illnesses.

After 2016’s Wifi (WeeFee) Tech N9ne comes out with another track on which he flexes on everybody how many artists he collaborated with and compares himself to a herder of talent.

This comes as a persistent theme in his music and career as Tech has said on many occasions how he wants his music to reach the world. In 2003 he said:

>Tech N9ne is worldwide, man, it’s the biggest thing ever to me and if it happens to blow as big as I expect, I won’t be able to go anywhere. That’s what I’m prepared to do, because my goal is to get my music to the world. I want the world to know what I feel, what I think, laugh with me, cry with me, kick it with me, through my music. So for what I want to do, it’s a household name to the 20th power.

Earlier in his career he made songs like Why You Ain’t Call Me? in 2008 or Red Nose in 2009 in which he complained that other artists are avoiding him despite his status or that they treat him differently because they can’t relate to him. Since then he reached to so many people and collaborated with so many artists that he went from a self professed outcast of the industry to a person people flock to. This lead him to make this song in which he just boasts about how he finally feels as being appreciated.

T-Dub brags that although Mario might have superpowers, like famous comic book hero Superman, he is more attractive and will continue to be so in future, at some point having a big tan (which was the style at the time of this song’s release).

Joe Pesci often plays a mobster in movies and Twista uses his name to say that he wants a loyal woman just like Mafiosos are.
